Richard C. McConathy
Richard C. McConathy earned his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Texas. He was admitted to the Texas State Bar in 2002. From that time, it has been his sole privilege to assist the citizens of North Texas of receiving the best possible defense. He is skilled in DWI/DUI defense having successfully defended 91% of the DWI cases set for trial by either NOT GUILTY or DISMISSAL since 2002. (Please know that the outcome of your case is dependent on mitigating circumstances and although Mr. McConathy has had tremendous results, they can never be predicted or promised.)
Brian Bolton
In late 2004, Mr. Bolton left the Dallas County District Attorney's Office to begin a private criminal defense practice that focused on DWI and other intoxication-related offenses. Mr. Bolton was with the Dallas district attorney's for several years and while with the misdemeanor division was involved in thousands of cases there. Since that time, he has gained the reputation by his colleagues as one of the premier up-and-coming criminal defense lawyers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and has been acknowledged by his clients, prosecutors, police officers, fellow defense lawyers, and by the judges themselves, as a tenacious, unrelenting trial lawyer with the uncanny ability to win even the most difficult cases, with a winning record to show.
Because of Mr. Bolton's ability to conduct a winning DWI jury selection, and because of his ability to vigorously cross-examine the arresting officer, several prominent DWI lawyers have called upon Mr. Bolton to assist them with their own jury trials. Mr. Bolton will provide the best possible DWI legal defense.
Eric Gruetzner
Mr. Gruetzner is the newest member of the Law Offices of Richard C. McConathy. His practice is exclusively confined to Criminal Defense and Civil Matters in the strongly litigated Collin County Courts. It is the opinion of many members of the bar that Collin County is one of the most aggressive counties in the state in punishing defendants. With this in mind, only hardnosed lawyers can survive in this environment. He has the experience of over 700 cases handled before the Texas Courts in Collin County. His areas of practice included both felony and misdemeanor defense in Criminal Law and all matters before the civil courts. Mr. Gruetzner has received his law degree in 2002 from Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth. He also attended and graduated from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. After graduation from Texas A&M, Mr. Gruetzner served his community as an adult probation officer and later went on to work in government affairs in Washington, D.C.; finally as a commercial insurance adjuster prior to becoming a licensed attorney.
Mr. Gruetzner is a skilled attorney in Collin County. Where law defense is considered difficult, you need to choose a lawyer who is experienced. 700 cases strong, Mr. Gruetzner has earned a reputation for aggressively representing our client's interest in every case he handles.
