He served as the Treasurer for the Dallas Bar Association's Criminal Law Section from 2004 to 2006, serving his local community of attorneys and expanding his knowledge.
Both his educational background and work experience attest to his devotion to criminal defense. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice at the University of North Texas, he studied law at the Texas Weslayan University School of Law in Fort Worth. After earning his license to practice law in Texas, he set his roots down in his local community and opened his own firm, The Law Offices of Richard C. McConathy, where he continues to guide clients facing some of the toughest situations of their lives.
